Data Centers and Telecom

Planning, construction and energy for data and telecommunication.

Despite huge amounts of capital tied up in data centers, significant inefficiencies still exist. With average data center cost now threatening to crowd out other technology investment, the matter has become a board level concern. From 2000 to 2006 the energy consumed by data centers doubled and this year expected to consume as much energy as 10 new major power plants.

A report by McKinsey and Company states that by improving the efficiency of existing data centers and making substantive changes in how they manage their data center portfolio, make the most significant gains in performance and cost savings.

Highwire Energy

Cooling uses 30 percent of the energy used by data centers. Our unique system provides high output energy, while lowering cooling energy requirements for data centers by reducing ambient temperatures outside.
