PRECONSTRUCTION

Preconstruction

Preconstruction is the essential planning stage prior to construction critical to make sure the project runs smoothly.

Preconstruction confirms planning conclusions, constructability, total value and scheduled delivery.  This phase summarizes all elements of the project prior to bidding.

Preconstruction team defines project delivery, prepares cost estimates, identifies potential construction issues with solutions to determine the most efficient use of money and resources.

A thorough and deliberate pre-construction process is extremely important to ensure the project goes as planned and all potential needs are identified and addressed.

As much as you may want to get moving with construction, you can’t jump right into the action. Before the digging and building, you must go through the hiring and designing and estimating. These steps set a solid foundation for a well-executed project.
